Japanese-style Curry Beef

Japanese-style Curry Beef is a dish that originated in Japan and combines curry and beef. It typically consists of beef, onions, potatoes, carrots, and curry blocks that are cooked together to create a thick and flavourful stew.

【4 Servings】

225g Sliced beef roll, cut into half

2 carrots, cut into chunks

2 potatoes, cut into chunks

1 onion, cut into pieces

1tbsp soy sauce

1tsp black ground pepper

2 bay leaves

2 pieces Japanese curry blocks

750ml water

1.Cut the sliced beef rolls in half

2.Blanch the beef rolls in boiling water until the color changes, then remove and set aside

3.Heat some oil in a pot, add onions and carrots and stir-fry evenly

4.Return the beef rolls to the pot, add soy sauce ,750ml water, bay leaves and black pepper

5.Cover the pot and cook over medium-high heat for 15 minutes.

6.After 15 minutes, add curry blocks and potatoes to the pot, cover again and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes.

7.Before serving, garnish with chopped scallions and enjoy with steamed rice
